The Federation of Canadian Municipalities will support studies and infrastructure related projects throughout the year. Some have and currently include:
Study grant: Transportation networks and commuting options: We fund feasibility studies of initiatives that may reduce pollution in Canadian communities by improving transportation systems and networks or encouraging people to switch to less polluting transportation options. This funding helps Canadian cities and communities of all sizes reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improve air quality.
Green Municipal Fund: FCM offers low-interest loans of up to $5 million, combined with grants, for Canadian municipalities to implement large-scale capital projects that demonstrate an innovative solution or approach to a municipal environmental issue.
